This past Tuesday at the wee hours of the morning I was honored to be the guest of Internet Radio host Saytue Saye.  She asked me some pertinent questions about writing, blogging, freelancing and even my paintings and previous acting ventures.

When I asked Saytue how she learned about me, she said that she found me through Seth Layton who is a regular guest blogger on this blog.  I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to thank Seth for his extreme kindness towards me, always doing incredible nice things for me.  Through Saytue I then found out that Seth had created an entire page to promote ME and MY business, and that’s how she found me. Thank you Seth!

Introducing Radio Host Staytue Saye

When I read Saytue’s bio to get to know her better in order to write this post, I learned that she had been writing poetry since age 10 and I found out that we had a lot in common.  We are both interested in writing and painting and we have both written poetry, even though I’ve never wrote poetry to the extent that she has, as you can see here. Amazing lady with multiple talents, indeed!

While she was studying journalism, Saytue was introduced to Internet Radio EOTM Radio where she worked for 4 years before starting her on BlogTalkRadio, “Mixture of Arts” in February of 2011.  On her radio show she talks about many different topics with a diversity of music as well.

Saytue has interviewed popular folks such as NJE Producer and Shoes For Liberia founder, Tarkus Zonen; Chief Editor from K Magazine, Jonah Baker, and Joyce Littel, host of well known radio station V103 in Atlanta, GA.  Saytue was also Joyce Littel late night show guest for her “Poetic Moments”.

I was totally surprised when Saytue expressed the desire to interview me for her radio show, but I didn’t have to think long about my answer. My answer was, YES, right away.

So here is the interview for you to listen to.  Right after the show Saytue told me that she was having great feedbacks from her listeners, and that really made me feel good.  I hope you will enjoy it too.

    Congratulations on the radio interview, I’ve got it playing right now.

    You’ve shared some great tips and advice, especially when it comes to article marketing. This is a field that I need to apply myself to a bit more as I’m one of those people that has only written a few articles.

    Your blogging tips are spot on as well. As we know it’s about building the Know like and trust factor before trying to sell. I hope this interview gets to the ears of the new bloggers out there as it’ll give them the heads up on how to start correctly…. I’ll do my best to help with that 🙂

    What an honour to have been asked, well done. It goes to reinforce my saying that you get out what you put in and you’ve certainly been putting in Sylviane 🙂

    Congratulations on being interviewed. I’ve been looking forward to hearing this one and I know you’re so excited.

    I will admit, at the beginning of this interview Saytue sure does talk fast. Thank goodness she slowed down when asking you these questions.

    She mentioned learning about Wealthy Affiliates through Pot Pie Girl. She’s the one I bought my first informational product from and how I first started making money through affiliate marketing.

    Great tips about article marketing. I think that most people just expect immediate results but they have to understand there is much more involved then that.

    As I’ve told you many times before, I admire that you’re able to write for other people. Heck, I get nervous doing guest posts but getting paid to write for people is an art.

    Great advice about blogging. Glad you pointed out to Saytue how important it is not to sell in your post or articles. It’s all about connecting with your readers and I was surprised to hear she had difficulty with that. I’m sure she, along with many others, will really get some great tips from what you’ve shared about this.

      Yes, Saytue’s intro goes a hundred miles an hour, but that just the intro 🙂 she sure slows down in normal speed when she actually speaks.

      Looks like everyone knows PotPieGirl. It’s funny I met jennifer on WA. I joined in March 2008 and she joined in July of that same year and I was surprised because I had recently seen what she was doing online and it didn’t seem that she needed that training at all. What she did do, though, is use her training and experience to attract a flock of newbies. I know that she made tons of money that way 🙂 I din’t know that you knew her too, and learn from her, because your blog does much better than hers, actually. Ouch!!! Well, would that be because you are far more of a people person… hum…. I wonder! Build relationships people, because its the KEY!

    Well deserve! I used to say congratulations, but this is well deserved. You should reap the benefits and exposure as a writer. My hats off to those who can not only write on personal blog but yet write for others. That’s a craft and a gift!

    I couldn’t play it on the day you posted this though I love to hear it, as I was having a lower Internet connection speed, but it’s restored now in this new month.

    As Donna said, you are receiving the recognition well dear. I can’t agree more with the facts you discussed there in the Interview and that’s why Saytue got you interviewed, no? 🙂 Saytue was asking very good questions there. Actually myths that people having about article marketing, blogging and others such as search engine ranking, keywording etc. As always examples helping your answers 🙂

    When you talk about painting I thought what if someone offer a price for it 😉 Glad Saytue asked that right after my thought. Seems you are very attracted to ’em 🙂

      I don’t have much more paintings to show at the time. There are a couple which I gave away years ago and don’t even have a picture of. I know that you were one of the few people who’ve actually seen my painting page.
